LANGUAGE POLICY – TRIPLE ADVANCED INVETSMENTS 51 (PTY) LTD

Introduction Section 63(1) of the National Credit Act, Act 34 of 2005 ("the Act") states that “a consumer has a right to receive any document that is required in terms of the Act in an official language that the consumer reads or understands, to the extent that is reasonable having regard to usage, practicality, expense, regional circumstances and the balance of the needs and preferences of the population ordinarily served by the person required to deliver that document”. .


TRIPLE ADVANCED INVESTMENTS 51 (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2010/018513/07 (“TADI”), as a registered credit provider (NCRCP5819), is required, as a condition of its registration requirements, to have a language policy in place as per section 63(1) of the National Credit Act.

TADI undertakes to provide support to the customer as required by the Act, with specific reference to TADI’s product offerings in one of the following 4 (four) official languages:
•English
•isiZulu
•isiXhosa
•Sesotho


Documentation in respect of the various products we offer to the public, will be available in the 4 (four) official languages as follows:

1. Sales Process

Pre-agreement disclosure documentation (pre-agreement statement and quotation) and the credit agreement are available in respect of Unsecured short term personal Loans.


This is the only product we offer.

2. Collection Process and Debt Enforcement

Support to the customer – All documentation relating to customer support in the collection process and debt enforcement is available in English only however agents will be available to discuss the collection process in the four official languages.

3. Account Maintenance

Support to the customer – All documentation relating to customer support in account maintenance is available in English only however agents will be available to discuss the collection process in the four official languages.

4. Delivery Channels:

• Internet Access is available in English and this will be the case for the foreseeable future;


• Advertising and Brochures This is currently available in English, but can be adapted as required by the various marketing campaigns.


• Call Centre The four proposed languages are available for all general and technical enquiries in respect of the product offerings.


Due to specialized financial and legal terminology it is not possible to provide legal documentation in any other language than English to ensure legal certainty should the validity of the document be contested in a South African court of law. Due to the aforementioned TADI have adopted the legal stance that any documentation which requires a signature by a costumer will be on the English version only.
